iPod Subway Maps

If you live in (or are visiting) NYC, Boston, Hong Kong, Chicago, SF, or Washington DC… and you own a color iPod, you can go to iPod Subway Maps, and download… well… subway maps of that city.

From the site’s creator, William Bright:

“Simply put, I decided that it’d be pretty cool to build this website so you can put subway maps onto your iPod Photo. As I write this, I’ve only got one city up so far — well, almost. I skipped Staten Island. Do people actually ride that subway?

Eventually I’d like to open the site up to allow other visitors to submit their own maps. One step at a time, though.”

Now that’s an incredible use of one’s time and ingenuity (and really generous, as well).

The Library

I've removed the little flash player that was here for now. It was causing some problems with the site in several browsers... okay... mostly it was IE6 because... well... I'm fairly sure that Microsoft hates me.

For now, you can view the Complete Library page, which is kind of a master list of every single track we've linked to.
