iPod Software Update

Shuffle owners: If you haven’t already, you may want to head over to Apple’s iPod Downolads and pick up the new update. This update fixes a few bugs.

Apple says:

iPod Updater 2005-09-23 includes new iPod Software 1.1.2 for iPod shuffle. iPod Updater 2005-09-23 contains the same software versions as iPod Updater 2005-09-06 for all other iPod models.

In other words, if you’re up to date on any iPod, but the shuffle, you don’t need this. The current versions for all the iPods are:

  • iPod nano: iPod nano Software 1.0
  • iPod with color display & iPod photo: iPod Software 1.2
  • iPod shuffle: iPod shuffle Software 1.1.2
  • iPod mini: iPod mini Software 1.4
  • iPod with Click Wheel: iPod Software 3.1
  • iPod with dock connector: iPod Software 2.3
  • iPod w/touch wheel or w/scroll wheel: iPod Software 1.5

The Library

I've removed the little flash player that was here for now. It was causing some problems with the site in several browsers... okay... mostly it was IE6 because... well... I'm fairly sure that Microsoft hates me.

For now, you can view the Complete Library page, which is kind of a master list of every single track we've linked to.
