Apple iPod Drama Round Up
September 25th, 2005
On the off chance that you haven’t been forwarded all of this a dozen times by friends, or visited any of the million del.icio.us links, or noticed the 104.5 duplicate Diggs… I thought I’d do a summary of this week’s most notorious iPod stories:
Somebody’s iPod Nano broke, so of course, they want to see if it’s cause for a recall.
People were shocked and dismayed when they discovered that Apple might be making a 50% profit on the Nano.
Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, stated the obvious when he said that the music industry is greedy.
Warner Music Group CEO Edgar Bronfman Jr. kind of proved Steve’s point for him by basically saying, “No we’re not! We just want part of Apple’s profits!”
In other news: the bread industry has started to claim that they should share in the profits of toaster manufacturers.
