iPod Nirvana Podcast No. 7
A little travelin’ music, please.
The Show:
Today’s show is quite a bit different than the usual, and you’ll just have to tune in to find out how and why. That’s right! No program notes for you!
What the hell is this podcast bizznus anywayz?
Podcasting is the greatest thing since sliced bread. For realz, tho.
The basic idea is that people, like me, with delusions of adequacy, record little radio-like shows for you and make them available on the interweb. But the cool part is that through the magic of a technology called RSS, you can subscribe (for free) to these shows and have them directly loaded into your MP3 software automagically.
In order to do so, you will need some kind of software that can understand this RSS bizness. iTunes does, and subscribing with it is a breeze. Just left-click or control-click on the little button on my site that says “XML,” or the link that says “Feed,” and choose “copy link.” Then go into iTunes, and in the Advanced menu, click on “Subscribe to podcast.” In the little box that comes up, just paste what you copied. Hit “OK” and you’re done. E-Z-Peasy
Now, if for some strange reason you don’t have or don’t like iTunes, there’s other options. Try iPodder, or search for “podcast client.” They’ll provide you with instructions when you download them.

Howdy,
I’m Evan Bateman’s (of Seaeva) mom. Is there any chance you might rebroadcast that episode so that I can save it for him on my ipod?
He said that it was like hearing himself on the radio for the first time :-)

What’s the matter? You don’t have a computer in Cali?
Post, man, post, we want to hear about the trip, your move, etc.
BTW, I saw some of the pics of the trip over on Sandy’s site. ;-)
